During the second phase, you’ll be encouraged to fill your time with productive habits such as work or school. You’ll have access to vocational and education services that can help you become job or school ready. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment.

Recovering Champions

The residents still have access to all Hope House resources, including weekly in-house clinical outpatient groups and events. Clients of Hope House are encouraged to plan for a safe living environment to discharge to at the beginning of their treatment. Hope House Addiction Services works with the client to find the best fit for their individual needs and the level of care that will support their recovery goals. Depending on eligibility, our grad house, Zach’s Place, or our Single Room Occupancies can be an option for current patients.

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) is a non-profit organization that specifically accredits rehab organizations. Founded in 1966, CARF’s, mission is to help service providers like rehab facilities maintain high standards of care. A client can apply for admission to the Graduate Sober Community and be willing and motivated to continue to participate in services offered by Hope House.

The resources are abundant for someone trying to make a better life for themselves. I am ever grateful to the Hope House, and I look forward to my new future. If you are on FDA approved medication for withdrawal symptom management, you’ll be able to participate in their methadone and Suboxone support groups.

Residential Program

Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket. Hope House’s mission is to provide individualized treatment to those living with a substance use disorder (SUD). During the second phase of treatment, residents receive support in obtaining employment or, if they are physically unable to work, structured volunteer activities. They continue attending house meetings and participating in 12-step practices and counseling. If you can’t pay the full cost of treatment, a sliding scale payment plan may be a solution for you.

Once you complete the program you’ll have the option to qualify for their low income housing and continue with outpatient treatment. You will need to meet certain criteria to be accepted into the program. You’ll need to successfully complete their residential program and commit to personal recovery. You must be willing to continue participation in services such as outpatient therapy, case management and group meetings.

The SRO is a supportive living space, and although the residents sign leases to their units, they enjoy access to Hope House resources and staff. Each adult program in Massachusetts is designed to help individuals over the age of 18 recover from addiction to drugs or alcohol. The length of the program and its intensity varies, based on the needs of the individual.

At the outset of Phase I, clients are evaluated for needs in the areas of housing, medical conditions, job prospects, and the like. A client may be referred to community programs and/or practitioners with affiliation agreements with Hope House. Private drug rehab provides a comfortable, secure environment that allows you to focus on doing the work to get your life back on track. Hope House Addiction Services is the oldest and one of the largest residential rehab centers in Massachusetts.
